Park Information

Both parks have pavilions that are available for parties, meetings, and any other gatherings.  Please contact the City Office for availability at 382-3455.

The City of Marquette Heights provides two parks for its residents and visitors to enjoy. Independence Park and Marquette Park are both located on LaSalle Boulevard.

Marquette Heights Park

Marquette Heights Park is located on the corner of Sangamon and LaSalle Boulevard. This park offers a pavilion with electric services, public restrooms, playground and a cooking grill. It also offers a 9 hole disk golf course.

Independence Park

Independence Park located just up the road from Marquette Heights park. The park offers a 1/2 mile walking track, 5 baseball diamonds, playground, Eagle Dog Park, pavilion and public restrooms.
