Independence Park
Independence Park, also known as, Marquette Heights Trail is located between LaSalle boulevard in Marquette Heights and I-474. Independence Park consists of 12 miles of a pure single track for hike & bike use. It has many challenging hills and descents, with plenty of logs and natural obstacles.

Marquette Heights Park
Just a half mile off of route 29 lies a 9-hole Frisbee golf course. This course is great for amateurs and beginners with slight hilly slopes and lots of trees with an average length of 300-400 ft. per hole. The course is characterized by several picturesque pin placements. Tight hardwood-lined fairways make accurate tee shots a challenge. new construction and redesign is in the works complete with tee signs, tee markers, and next tee blocks.

Skate Park
Located next to the City Municipal Building at 715 Lincoln this skate park is a good place to learn how to skateboard. It’s less crowded than other city parks and offers a variety of options to practice from a half pipe to rails and kicker ramps.

Eagles Dog Park
Eagle Dog park is located on the east side of Independence Park at 612 LaSalle boulevard. There are also restrooms, picnic tables and a playground for small children.
