There is no charge for the Marquette Heights Fire Department to come out to your residence for a call.  Transportation to medical facilities is not provided by Marquette Heights Fire and Rescue and there will be additional charges for medical transport.

To become a volunteer firefighter you need to fill out an application and return it to City Hall.  

Yard waste fires including leaf burning, limb and grass clippings are allowed provided smoke and odor emissions do not create a nuisance of hazard situation. A yard waste fire is not allowed within twenty feet (’20’) of any structure, including neighboring structures and fifty feet (’50’) of wooded area. A yard waste fire is allowed from sunup and sunset and be completely extinguished thereafter.

The Easter Egg Hunt begins on Easter Sunday @ 1:00 PM SHARP at City Hall.

The third Saturday in September from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
